- To strengthen the department by introducing skill-based certificate courses and value-added programme that enhance students’ employability.
- To prepare students for higher education and competitive examinations such as CSIR – NET, SET, and TNPSC through regular coaching and mentoring.
- To foster a research-oriented learning environment by encouraging mini projects and student participation in seminars and conferences.
- To organize outreach and awareness programme for school students and rural women to promote scientific knowledge and social awareness.
- To upgrade laboratory and infrastructural facilities to support advanced learning, experimentation, and innovation.
